Airport Shuttle FAQs

How do I pay for a trip to the airport on the shuttle?

You should purchase your shuttle ride using our online reservation system. The drivers do not sell tickets and cannot make change.  Please note, when booking a ticket, it is one reservation per person. 

Are tickets refundable or transferable?

A reservation is per person.  Reservations cannot be split.  Shuttle tickets are nonrefundable nor transferable to another person.  A ride credit for future transportation needs may be issued to your account for a single ticket. Credited tickets are only good for one year. For those needing a refund please call our dispatch center at 800-589-6004.

What happens if I miss my shuttle?

If you miss your shuttle, your ticket is good for the next available shuttle based upon capacity.

Suspension of Service During Hazardous Conditions

Safety is a core principle of Bloomington Shuttle Service Inc., DBA GO Express Travel.  If management deems conditions are unsafe to operate, GO Express Travel reserves the right to suspend operation of service.

Hazardous conditions increase the risk of an accident, and these conditions can be natural or manmade.  Examples include but are not limited to: significant accumulation of snow, ice, freezing rain, civil unrest, or protests.  As a licensed operator we are subject to and will follow local, state and national government directives.

When hazardous conditions develop, we will monitor conditions and communicate (in advance when possible) with anyone impacted in as timely a manner as possible. 

How long are credited tickets good for?

Credited tickets are only good for one year. 

Age of Passengers

All minors 17 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or over) when traveling with GO Express Travel.  GO Express Travel reserves the right, but is not obligated, to verify the age of any passenger.

How much luggage may I bring on the shuttle?
You may bring two suit cases of no greater than 70 lbs. or 62 linear inches and one carry item which must be able to fit under your seat or in the compartment overhead. Additional luggage will result in the purchase of an additional ticket with up to two more stowed bags.
Is there a charge for small children?

Children ages 3 and under may ride the Airport shuttle for free. For booking, please call 800-589-6004.

Can I travel with my pet on the shuttle?
Yes. Animals must be crated. Of course service animals for impaired passengers are always welcome.
Do I need a reservation to ride?

Reservations are given loading preference. We recommend you make a reservation using our website, or by calling us at 800-589-6004. Our reserved riders are always seated first. Please note, reservations booked over the phone will incur a separate administrative fee.

Can I pre-pay a ticket for someone?

You may purchase online and input the “passenger name” on the payment page.

When should I be at the shuttle stop to catch the bus?

We recommend you are waiting at your shuttle stop no less than 10 (minutes) before the scheduled departure time, make sure you have purchased a ride card.

Can I park my vehicle where I get on the shuttle?

GO Express Travel, does not recommend parking without permission at any location(this may lead to your vehicle being towed at your expense). Again, we have no authority to say that you should ever leave a vehicle unattended in a location without permission. For customers traveling on Lafayette Express, parking is available at the Courtyard Marriott with the purchase of a parking permit. Parking permits can be purchased when making a reservation.

Can the shuttle buses be rented for use by private groups?

Yes, GO Express Travel, is insured and licensed to provide both large and small group transportation to anyplace in the U.S., Canada or Mexico. Just call our reservation center at 800-589-6004 and tell us where you would like to go!

Where do I find the shuttle at the airport?

The shuttle picks up at the Ground Transportation Center located directly across from baggage claim area on the lower level of the main terminal in Zone 1.
